Andrew Jackson, March 15, 1767 – † June 8, 1845, was the seventh President of the United States. He is the first U.S. president that was elected as the candidate of the Democratic Party, and is considered one of its founders.

Andrew Jackson was a general, a hero of the War of 1812. He commanded the American army in the First seminole war. He was elected to the House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate.
